About
Who I am and how I work.
Who I am
I'm a Product Designer with depth in design systems delivered in code and AI as a multiplier in the process. I've been a designer for over a decade. I started in 2011 in graphic design and branding, went through agencies, public institutions and private companies, and spent years freelancing on product, brand and web. In 2020 I moved fully into Product Design, and since then I architect products and design systems, thinking about how each part should work, behave and scale.
My specialty is laying solid foundations so larger teams execute with autonomy and quality. I come from brand and illustration, which gives me a distinct visual sensibility, but my work lives less in the pretty screen and more in the structure underneath it.
How I work
- Research first. Every project starts by understanding the context, the people and the problem before proposing a solution.
- Design system as a base. I build products on reusable foundations (tokens, components, patterns) so they grow without becoming chaos.
- Living, machine-readable docs. Design doesn't end in Figma. Documenting decisions and patterns is part of the deliverable, written so humans and AI can both consume it.
- AI as a multiplier. I use AI deliberately in the process for documentation, technical specs and repetitive work, cutting 40 to 50% of the repetitive time.
- Iteration with intent. Prototypes, tests and refinements, always with a clear objective per cycle.
What I believe
- Foundations before surface. A good product starts with architecture, not the pretty screen.
- A team's autonomy matters more than my authorship. My work is well done when others can execute without depending on me.
- Direct communication. No detours, no filler, no needless jargon.
